Me Magid Massaad is one of the founders and the managing partners of Massaad & Hayek Law Firm since 1994.

He was appointed in 2011 as Legal Advisor to former Minister of Interior and the Head of the Municipalities Project Committee.

Professional Experience:

Me Magid Massaad was Director of the 'Globe Bank' - Kaslik Branch and the advisor of Globe Bank Chairman in 1990, here he had gained a large experience on Banking and Finance Law.

Me. Massaad has a comprehensive legal experience covering corporate, commercial, contentious matters and various tax implications. He provides a broad range of legal services in several fields of law on the local, regional and international levels.

Me. Massaad has also an extensive experience in real estate transactions and contracts such as, without limitation, sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements for residential and commercial destination comprising leases for spaces in shopping malls, construction and real estate development agreements, including FIDIC, and the management of residential and commercial compounds.

Me. Massaad advises on corporate structuring and acquisition of shares including the drafting and negotiation of joint ventures, shareholders’ and shares purchase agreements.

Me. Massaad also advises major companies and institutions on Labor and Social Security Laws, including employees’ benefits and termination, and on the laws governing teachers in private schools and universities. He contributes in the creation and incorporation of not for profit organizations.

Me. Massaad has been involved in the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial and non-commercial contracts including, without limitation, management of malls and hotels, letter of intent, distribution, franchise, licence, catering, services, independent contractor, sale, purchase and exchange of motor yachts, sale of Aircrafts, grant, memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreements.

Me. Massaad handled numerous court cases and represented clients before various courts up to the high court of cassation. He also represented clients in the execution of judgments and courts’ decisions including but not limited to seizure of assets up to the sale in the public auction.
